DETROIT, MI – Your help is needed in a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 20-year-old man. Your information could possibly crack this case.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a Person-of-Interest wanted in connection to a Homicide that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Monday, June 8th, 2020, at approximately 12:15 p.m., a 20-year-old man
was shot in the area of French Rd. and Gratiot. The victim died due to his injuries a couple days later at a local hospital.

Upon investigation, it is believed that the person of interest was close to the location at the time of the incident and may be able to provide information.
The Person-of-Interest is described as a black male, 30-40, 5’10”, 190 lbs., dread locks. He was last seen wearing a knit hat, white T-shirt and track pants, driving a white Buick Century.
