Iosco County Father’s Day Vehicle Crash Sends Driver to Hospital

IOSCO COUNTY, MI – An incredibly violent car crash on Father’s Day has sent the driver of that mangled car to the hospital by Flight Care. It is stunning that anyone would have survived this crash.

Troopers from the West Branch Post were dispatched to a single vehicle crash earlier today, Sunday June 21st, 2020, where the driver had been ejected. The vehicle crash happened on northbound M-65 at Dyer Rd, in Burleigh Township. The location of the crash was southwest of Tawas City.

Flight Care responded to the scene. The driver was removed from the scene by flight care and transported to a local hospital.

The attached photos were posted online by MSP at 5:27p.m. Sunday afternoon. Michigan State Police are asking that you remember to buckle up and drive safely this Father’s Day.
