Sherry Margolis to Retire from FOX 2 Detroit [Video]

SOUTHFIELD, MI – News anchor Sherry Margolis, of FOX 2 News, during the 5:00 p.m. news cast, on Wednesday June 24th, 2020, announced to the public that she will be retiring next week.

During her announcement, Sherry had a difficult time trying very hard not to cry. Huel Perkins and Monica Gayle lauded Sherry for her many years at WJBK and for everything that she has meant to the station and the community.

In 1984, Sherry moved to Detroit. She has spent over 35 years at WJBK. She is active in the community supporting organizations such as the Gleaners Food Bank, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation.
