ONONDAGA TOWNSHIP, MI – The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office has charged Jody Randall Arntz in connection with the death of Savanna Jacklin, the woman whose body was found in the Grand River at Baldwin Park, in Onondaga Twp, June 25th 2019.
Jacklin was originally reported as missing from Battle Creek. Before and after the woman’s body was discovered, Michigan State Police had been investigating along with the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office since March of 2019.
On June 25th 2020 Jody Arntz, a 24-year-old Jackson man was arraigned on one count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death. Detectives worked tirelessly over the last year to bring the investigation to a conclusion on the one-year anniversary of the recovery of Jacklin’s body.
Arntz was given a personal recognizance bond and his next court date is July 2nd at 8:30 AM at the 55th District Court in Mason in front of Judge Allen.
