CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI - The crime has been reported to Clinton Township Police but the Veteran wanted others in the area to be aware that his license plate was stolen off of his vehicle between Friday night, July 3rd and the early morning hours of July 4th, 2020, in the area of Garfield and Metro Parkway.

The Veteran stated that the license plate was stolen off of his vehicle in his driveway. His security camera was not angled in a direction that would have caught the thief on footage. He has since adjusted his security camera so that will not happen again.

He is upset because he now has to go through the trouble of getting the plate replaced and if it is placed on another vehicle it will come up as stolen.

We thank the Veteran for his service and we hope that his plate is located and the person who stole is prosecuted.
