DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are asking for the identity of a suspect wanted for a felonious assault that took place on the west side of the city in mid-June.
The Detroit Police Department needs help in identifying and locating a
suspect wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s west side.
On Sunday June 14th, 2020, at approximately 7:00 p.m., in the 7000 block of Grandriver Ave., a 56-year-old man was standing in the parking lot of a local restaurant when an unknown male suspect approached the victim and pointed a handgun at him. Video footage captured the suspect and the victim exchanged gunfire before the victim was ultimately struck. The suspect then fled the location on foot traveling northbound on Dexter. The victim was listed in critical condition.
