Man Shot and Killed in 13900 block of Livernois Ave late Wednesday evening

DETROIT, MI - A 34-year-old man was shot and killed in the 13900 block of Livernois Ave late Wednesday evening by an unknown gunman.

On Wednesday July 8th, 2020, at approximately 11:40 p.m., in the block 13900 block of Livernois a 34-year-old man was traveling north bound on Livernois Ave., driving a white 2019 Jeep Cherokee when he stopped at a red light. An unknown male suspect then approached the vehicle on foot and allegedly fired several shots in the front windshield sticking the victim multiple times. The suspect then entered an older model grey Sedan and fled northbound on Livernois Ave.

Medics were summoned, arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
