DETROIT, MI - A 22-year-old man was shot and killed while at a gas station on the city's west side in mid June and Detroit Police ask for any information to move the case forward.
The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s west side.
On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at approximately 11:00 P.M. in the 12700 block of
W. 8-mile Rd., three occupants (22, 23, 41 males) were sitting inside a 2006 Black Dodge Magnum at the gas pump, when an unknown suspect in a dark colored Chevy Impala drove by and began firing shots into their vehicle then fled. One of the occupants inside the Dodge Magnum returned fire, it’s unknown if the suspect was injured. As a result of this incident the 22-year old male victim was struck.
He was privately conveyed to the hospital where he died due to his injuries.
Detroit Police need assistance in locating this suspect. They have released a photo and video that they ask that you take a close look at.
