DETROIT, MI – Mickey Douglas, 25-years-old, of Detroit, has been identified as the gunman who opened fire on innocent people inside and outside of Eagles Coney Island late Sunday evening. Three people lost their lives for no apparent reason beyond an alleged comment or look that someone made about the suspects girlfriend.
Mickey Dane Douglas was out on parole, based on records from the Michigan Department of Corrections, at the time that the murders took place. Douglas has previous convictions of:

He was released from prison, on parole, as of 10/09/2018.
It is alleged that on Sunday July 19th, 2020, at approximately 11:00 p.m., in the 9100 block of Dexter, at Eagles Coney Island, four male victims were shot inside of the local restaurant by Mickey Douglas.
Three of those victims sustained fatal injuries. One man is in critical condition. Douglas was taken into custody Monday morning in Highland Park.
Douglas has not yet faced arraignment.
