DETROIT, MI – A suspect in the the triple non-fatal shooting of three men on the city’s west side is identified as 20-year-old Damario Jackson and Detroit Police ask for your help to bring him to justice.

Detroit Police needs assistance in locating a male suspect who is still at large and wanted in connection with the non-fatal shooting of three male victims on the city’s west side.

On July 21st, 2020, at approximately 6:00p.m., in the 24700 block of W. 7 Mile Road, the BP Gas Station, three victims, ages 20, 24, & 26 years old, were sitting inside of a silver Ford Fusion when a verbal altercation occurred between the victims and two male suspects.

During the altercation, one of the suspects produced a weapon and fired multiple shots into the victim’s vehicle, striking them.

After the shooting, both suspects entered a silver Kia Mini Van and fled.

The shooting suspect is identified as Damario Lamar Jackson, 20 years old. He is described as a black male, dark complexion, thin build, short braided dread lock hair style, wearing no shirt, blue jean pants, white belt, and dark shoes and armed with a handgun.

The second suspect, the driver of the Kia, a 37 year old male, turned himself in to the 6th Precinct at approximately 11 a.m. on July 22nd after seeing himself on T.V. He is being held at the DDC pending charges for Aggravated Assault.

A warrant packet has been submitted to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office for both suspects for review and recommendation of charges.

One of the three victims, a 24-year-old man remains in serious condition in the hospital. The other two, ages 20 and 26, were treated and have been released.
