Detroit Police ask for Identity of Sorrento and Fullerton Homicide Suspect

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police need your tips, your information to identify a suspect wanted in connection to a homicide that took place near Sorrento and Fullerton on the west side of the city.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a Person-of-Interest wanted in connection to a Homicide that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Sunday, July 19, 2020 at approximately 3:53 p.m., the 37 year old male victim was walking when he was fatally shot in the area of Sorrento Ave and Fullerton Ave. It is believed that the person of interest was close to the location at the time of the incident and may be able to provide information.

The Person-of-Interest is described as a black male, he may have long braids or twists. He was last seen wearing an orange colored hooded sweater, dark colored pants with stripes on the sides and white shoes. He left the location in a white vehicle that was occupied by multiple individuals.
