Shooting could be further Violence Connected to Fatal Massacre at Eagles Coney Island

4th victim dies from injuries after being shot inside of restaurant last weekend

DETROIT, MI – On Friday July 31st, 2020, at approximately 4:30 p.m., in the 13900 block of Plainview, a 34-year-old man was at a memorial gathering for one of the victims who was shot and killed at Eagles Coney Island, when an unknown vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, striking the victim in the body.

25-year-old Micky Douglas, of Detroit, has been charged in the shooting death of now four people at Eagles Coney Island last weekend. A forth victim died today from his injuries that he sustained when Douglas open fire inside of the restaurant on Sunday July 19th. Until today Micky Douglas was facing three murder charges. He now will face a forth after this latest victim died today Friday July 31st.

It is unknown but believed that the drive-by shooting at the memorial service is some how connected to the shooting deaths at Eagles Coney Island.

The man from the memorial service was transported to a local hospital by medics and is listed in temporary serious condition.
