Woman Killed when Stolen Dodge Challenger Slams into Trailblazer near Chalmers and Seymour

FATAL-ACCIDENT

DETROIT, MI – A 33-year-old woman was killed this afternoon after two individuals in a stolen vehicle slammed into hers on the east side of the city.

On Saturday August 1st, 2020, at approximately 4:45 p.m., in the area of Chalmers and Seymour, a stolen red Dodge Challenger, occupied by two men collided with a black trailblazer.

The 33-year-old female driver of the Trailblazer was fatally injured. Three other occupants of the Trailblazer, all minor children, were taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition. The woman and her children were on their way to celebrate her parents wedding anniversary.

The two male suspects were arrested. A weapon was recovered also.
