Police Imposter Pulls over Vehicle in Bloomfield Township

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – Police in Bloomfield Township took a report of a person who appears to be impersonating police.

Officers took a report of a possible police impersonation that occurred August 3rd, 2020 at approximately 7:00pm.

Witnesses state an older model blue or black Chevrolet Tahoe with chrome bumpers and red/blue flashing lights made a “traffic stop” in the area of Walnut Lake and Inkster Road.

Anyone with information or anyone who believes they may have been stopped by this vehicle is encouraged to contact Bloomfield Township Police dispatch non-emergency at 248-433-7755 and reference Report #20-14379.
