DETROIT, MI – On August 12th, 2020, at approximately 12:15 pm, at a bus stop in the area of Grand River and Greenfield Rd, a 44-year-old man, who the 54-year-old victim was familiar with, got into a verbal altercation.

The verbal argument turned physical, resulting in the suspect producing a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times. As a result, the victim was fatally wounded and pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

The 44-year-old suspect was taken into custody by police without incident. He also sustained injuries during the altercation and was transported to the local hospital by medics for treatment. He was listed in temporary serious condition.
