PONTIAC, MI – A 36-year-old Pontiac woman was arrested after she stabbed her 29-year-old boyfriend and her own 8 year old daughter during a dispute over the weekend.
On Saturday August 15th, 2020, Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to McLaren Oakland Hospital on a report of two stabbing victims in their Emergency Room. The caller reported that both victims arrived within in a few minutes of each other for treatment. The male victim had multiple stab wounds and a large laceration to his chest. The female victim (age 8) had a large laceration to her left arm and shoulder area.
The responsible was at the Emergency Room with the female victim, her daughter. It was reported that the responsible and the male victim, her boyfriend, had gotten into an argument at a residence in the 20 blk. of Collingwood St. where the assaults occurred. The female victim attempted to stop her mother from assaulting the male victim and was stabbed while doing so. Both victims were listed in stable condition.
Detectives arrived on scene and began their investigation. Child Protective Services was notified of the incident. The responsible was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending issuance of charges.
