Suspect sets off Box of Fireworks inside Westside Gas station [Video]

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are hoping you will help to identify a suspect who lit a box of fireworks off inside of a gas station then ran off. This stupid move caused damage inside of the building.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for the Malicious Destruction of Property on the city’s west side.

On Thursday, September 03, 2020 at approximately 9:45 p.m., suspect walks into the gas station located in the 19800 block of W. McNichols, sets a box of fireworks down on the floor. He is seen lighting them, then fled the location on foot. The fireworks caused damage to the ceiling tiles inside the location. No injuries were reported.
