CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – Henry Jermaine Johnson, 35-years-old, of Detroit, has been charged with the murder of a Clinton Township mother and daughter in 2013.
Henry Johnson was taken into custody by Clinton Township Police Detectives, along with the US Marshals Service, at his Detroit residence on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, without incident.
Henry Johnson was lodged at the Clinton Township Police Department until his arraignment that took place on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
Johnson was arraigned on a two-count felony warrant for Homicide – Open Murder, in connection to the 2013 murders of Ms. Tina Geiger and her daughter Krissy Geiger. He received a $500,000 cash bond and then was transported to the Macomb County Jail.
On Tuesday July 30th, 2013, Tina Geiger and her daughter Krissy, who are both described as being mentally challenged, were found dead inside their home at Parkway Village Apartments on Grange Street, near 16 Mile Road and Harper Avenue. Police said the mother and daughter both had their throats slashed.
Their bodies were first discovered by an apartment manager who was asked to check on the Giegers. Neighbors said the two would walk to a nearby 7-Eleven every day. The neighbors became concerned after not seeing the mother and daughter for several days.
