DEARBORN, MI – On Sunday, September 20th, 2020, at approximately 6:00 PM, Dearborn Police Officers responded to the 2700 block of Holly on a report of a 26-year-old Dearborn resident who had suffered a gunshot wound.
Responding officers and Dearborn Fire Department personnel immediately rendered first aid to the victim. He was transported to an area hospital by Dearborn Rescue where he succumbed to his injuries.
Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to identify and gather evidence, and to canvas the area for potential witnesses. Based upon the information available, the shooting does not appear to be a random act.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “This is a tragic situation and our condolences go out to the family of the victim. The Dearborn Police Department will use all available resources to apprehend the person(s) involved.
