DPD seeks Assistance concerning B & E of Eastside Business

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection to a B & E of a business that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Saturday, September 19, 2020 at approximately 4:00 a.m., the suspect broke into the local restaurant located in the 5800 block of Mt. Elliot by breaking the lock off the front door. Once inside, he threw a fire extinguisher at the office window to gain entry into that location and stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and a handgun. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
