Kent County Man Charged in CSC with a Child is Missing

SOLON TOWNSHIP, MI – Authorities are trying to locate a man who has gone missing. He has been charged with criminal sexual conduct concerning a child under the age of 13.

Keith Kloostra was charged in September with two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child under 13. He is facing those charges in Kent County. His last court hearing was Monday. He is scheduled for a preliminary examination next week.

The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 42-year-old Keith Edward Kloostra.

Kloostra recently made statements that he wanted to harm himself. He was last seen on the evening of Sunday, October 11th, 2020, driving a maroon Dodge Caravan, just like the one in the attached photo. The vehicle was located, however, Kloostra has not been found.

He may be near Zeigler Park, which is north of White Cloud in Newaygo County. Multiple searches for Kloostra have been conducted in the area.

Kloostra was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans. He is 6’1’’, 190 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
