Shots Fired near Warren Ave and Chase in Dearborn

DEARBORN, MI – On Sunday, October 18th, 2020, at approximately 5:40 PM, Dearborn Police responded to the area of Warren Ave near Chase on a report of shots fired. 

The suspect vehicle was described as an early 2000s green Honda Accord four-door sedan with a blue/gray colored passenger side door and was last seen fleeing southbound on Greenfield from Warren Ave.  The victim did not sustain any injuries. 

The incident was captured on cell phone video and an image of the suspect and his vehicle, shown below, were obtained.  This is an ongoing investigation, and the Dearborn Police are still gathering evidence and canvassing the area where this incident occurred. 

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Reckless acts such as this endanger innocent lives and will not be tolerated. The Dearborn Police Department will aggressively investigate this incident and the person responsible will be held accountable.”
