Persons of Interest Wanted in Fatal Shooting at Sunoco on E . Warren Ave [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two Persons-of-Interest who may have information regarding a fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Monday, October 19th, 2020, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a 31-year-old man, known as “Eastside”, Quinn Briggs had a verbal altercation with an unknown man inside the Sunoco gas station located at 9949 E. Warren Ave. As Briggs walks out of the gas station, an unknown suspect fired a shot, striking Eastside in the head, fatally wounding him.

Photos posted on social media show that Quinn Briggs was shot and killed near the entrance to the inside of the Sunoco convenience store.

The suspect vehicle may be a white Chevrolet Malibu, with the license plate number of EGJ-3489.
