CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – On Friday October 16th, 2020, Clinton Township Police and EMS responded to Garfield Road and 15 Mile for what had been reported as a serious accident but was in fact a fatal crash.
At approximately 3:30 PM, when officers arrived, they found that a two vehicle fatal crash had occurred. A person driving a Cadillac SUV broadsided a passenger car killing one of the passengers in that vehicle.
The victim in the front passenger seat, identified as Kelley Paul, of Clinton Township, died at the scene of the crash. The victim’s mother and daughter were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They were transported to a local area hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Kelley Paul, also known as Kelley Ann, was employed at the Burger King restaurant located at 34897 Groesbeck Hwy in Clinton Township. She was known as the really nice and very friendly drive-thru lady. She worked for Burger King for 20 years along with her sister Liz and her mother Sylvia.

Funeral services have not yet been announced at this time. Many have expressed that they would like to pay their respects to Kelley. As soon as those details are available, MI Headlines will publish those.
