DETROIT, MI – On Wednesday October 21st, 2020, at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 14900 block of Lappin, allegedly the 27-year-old male victim walked into the home of his mother who he went to check on due to health concerns that she has been experiencing and was shot by two unknown individuals.

His mother was not at home but once inside of the house he encountered 2 unknown black men. The suspects fired shots, striking the victim in the body.

He was struck with 4 bullets. He was shot once in both arms, once in his back and a fourth bullet went through his neck and out of his mouth, according to authorities. The 27-year-old man was able to drive himself to the hospital where he went through surgery. He is expected to survive his injuries. He is listed in stable condition.
