Identity Wanted of Subject Connected to Murder at Eastside Gas Station

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are trying to identify a person who they believe is involved in the murder of ‘Eastside’ Quinn Briggs who was gunned down at a Sunoco gas station on Monday evening.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating and identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Monday, October 19, 2020, at approximately 6:00 p.m., 31-year-old ‘Eastside’ Quinn Briggs had a verbal altercation with an unknown male inside the gas station located in the 9900 block of E. Warren. As Briggs exits the gas station, the suspect, who was in the rear driver’s side passenger seat of an older model tan Buick Century fired shots, striking ‘Eastside’. He was fatally wounded.

The suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing a red jacket with white color on the front of it.
