TAYLOR, MI – Avion Sanders, 21-years-old, of Taylor, has been charged in connection with the physical assault of the 21-year-old woman. The victim and the defendant have an infant daughter in common.

On October 21, 2020, at approximately 1:48 a.m., Taylor police officers were dispatched to the area of 15600 Court Village in response to a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, the officers spoke with the victim. It is alleged that an argument between the defendant and the victim escalated into a physical altercation.
