Manistee Police continue to Investigate Shots Fired Call

MANISTEE, MI – On Saturday October 26th , 2020, at approximately 9:09pm, officers from the Manistee City Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Taylor Street in the City for Manistee for a shot fired complaint.

The Manistee City Police Department was assisted by the Manistee County Sheriff’s Office, the Michigan State Police, and the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Department of Public Safety.

During a subsequent on scene investigation, officers were advised there had been a physical altercation involving multiple subjects at the residence. During the altercation, one of the subjects involved presented a handgun and fired at least one time.

The suspects fled prior to law enforcement arrival. At this time, there is no indication that anyone has sustained injuries related to the gun shot. This incident is currently under investigation and no arrest have been made at this time.
