DETROIT, MI – Robert Gray, 56-years-old and Kenyantta King, 42-years-old, both of Detroit, have been charged in connection with the removal of copper tubing from a church restroom.

On October 27, 2020 at approximately 12:40 a.m., Detroit police were dispatched to the Bushnell Congregational Church located at 15000 Southfield Freeway regarding the burglary of an occupied business.  Upon arrival, the officers located the defendants who were being detained by individuals inside the location.  The defendants were arrested at the scene.

The defendants have been charged with Breaking and Entering with Intent, Possession of Burglar Tools, Malicious Destruction of Building – $200 – $1000.  They are expected to be arraigned in 36th District Court this afternoon.
