DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating several unknown suspects wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Thursday, October 15th, 2020, at approximately 4:15 a.m. in the 3700 block of Gratiot Avenue, two vehicles, a light colored SUV and a dark colored minivan, occupied by several unknown suspects pulled up and parked next to the KFC. The unknown suspects exited the vehicles and approached the business on foot.

Four of the suspects pried open the rear door then entered while two remained outside as lookouts. Once inside the suspects removed a safe and placed it into the light colored SUV, they drove off north on Mt. Elliott with the second vehicle following behind.
