DETROIT, MI – Three men were shot at in the 17000 block of Plymouth on the west side of Detroit early Friday morning. That shooting left one of the men dead and the another clinging to life.

On Friday, November 6th, 2020, at approximately 1:50 a.m., in the 17000 block of Plymouth, three males, ages 19, 20, and 22, were getting into a parked 2017 KIA Forte when an unknown suspect(s) fired multiple shots at the vehicle, striking two of the victims.

The third male in the vehicle drove them away from the scene. They stopped in the area of Warren and Mansfield when they saw a Dearborn Police scout car.

The Dearborn officers notified Detroit Police, who arrived on scene and began administering aid to the victims until medics arrived and conveyed them to a local hospital.

One victim, the 19-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The second victim, a 20-year-old man, is listed in critical condition.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
