MONTEREY TOWNSHIP, MI – On Friday November 6th, 2020, the suspect in the murder of Cody Cline, Nolan Woodsworth, was arraigned on the charge of Open Murder.

Cody Cline was fatally shot at his home near 130th Ave. and 30th St. on Monday November 2nd, 2020. Just before midnight on Monday, Allegan Central Dispatch received a call of a shooting incident at a residence near 130th Ave. and 30th St. in Monterey Township. 

Allegan County Sheriff Department Officers arrived on scene where they located Cody Cline lying in the driveway of his home. He had been fatally shot.

On Tuesday November 3rd, 2020, the suspect, Nolan Woodsworth, was located in the Grand Rapids area after his vehicle was located crashed into a tree in the area of 134th Ave. and 24th St. 

Woodworth was taken into custody by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office at that time.
