HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, MI – After a five week investigation Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested a 38-year-old Pullman man for his role in the death of 32-year-old Juan Villarreal, on September 26th, 2020 in Holland Township.
The suspect, Jeremy Taylor, was known to Juan Villarreal prior to the incident. On the evening of September 25th a disagreement occurred at the Fourth Ave address. During that altercation, Villarreal was assaulted by the Jeremy Taylor.
As a result of that assault Juan Villarreal sustained a significant head injury that, according to the medical examiner’s office, caused his death. The investigation shows that Jeremy Taylor delivered the blow that caused the death of Villarreal.
Jeremy Taylor was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ottawa County Jail where he remains there on a charge of Manslaughter without bond at this time.
