DETROIT, MI – On Monday November 9th, 2020, at approximately 7:46 p.m. in the 4200 block of Tyler, the suspect was having a dispute with a neighbor over food delivery.

Allegedly, a neighbor produced a hammer and the suspect, a CPL Holder, produced a gun and fired shots. The suspect’s 20-month-old daughter who was seated in a gray charger was struck by her mother’s gunfire. 

Police transported her to a local hospital where she was listed in critical condition after she was shot in the hip.

The mother was arrested. Charges will be discussed with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday morning. Both the handgun and hammer were recovered.
