DETROIT, MI – Matthew James Reeves, IV, 22-years-old, of Detroit, is now facing charges in connection with the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Rayne Nicole Dennis, also of Detroit.
On November 8th, 2020, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to the 9100 block of Beaconsfield in response to a 911 call about a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located 16-year-old Rayne Dennis inside the residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Matthew Reeves fled the scene in his vehicle. The investigation by the Detroit Police Department led to the apprehension of the defendant.
