Some are not mentally nor emotionally equipped to navigate through everything that the world is currently facing plus whatever else might be happening in their lives. A 25-year-old Oakland County woman posted a suicide note to Facebook on Thursday November 12th, 2020, before she ended her life.
At about 3:25 p.m. Oakland County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to an address on Apple Street to check on the welfare of a woman who had posted a suicide note on Facebook. The caller spoke with the woman in the morning and explained that the victim was very emotional about how her life was going.
When the person who called 911 for a welfare check on the woman, she explained to the deputies that the victim did not say anything about suicide during their telephone call but just posted on Facebook that she was sorry for the mess and could someone please take care of her pets.
Deputies arrived on scene and made entry into the home. The woman was located in the living room where she had obviously and sadly taken her own life.
Fire Department EMS responded to the scene where they provided telemetry to McLaren Oakland Hospital where the attending physician pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
A Detective and an Investigator from the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to assist in the investigation. The next of kin were notified. An autopsy is pending, and the incident remains under investigation.
