Detroit Police Sketch on non-fatal shooting suspect

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police released a sketch of a man that is wanted for a shooting that took place on the east side of the city.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a male suspect wanted in connection with a Non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Thursday, October 22nd, 2020, at approximately 4:15 a.m., in the 11600 block of Mount Elliott St., a 39-year-old man was checking the area of the property when he was shot by an unknown male suspect. After the incident, the suspect fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’0”, medium build, 220 lbs., dark complexion, dark brown eyes, with a full beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a red hooded jacket, with three white strips going along the collar, an old English “D” on the front left side, and blue jean pants.
