The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport

ROMULUS, MI – Reports are coming in that a person who was at the Westin Hotel at Detroit Metro Airport leaped to their death today Friday November 27th, 2020.

From the accounting of a person familiar with the incident, they have stated that the person jumped from the sixth floor where they landed in the atrium of the hotel lobby.

It is not known if the person was a guest at the hotel or if they had recently flown in on a flight to Detroit.

Sadly this is the second time this week that a person has taken their own life that we were made aware of. The first that we were notified about was that of a dedicated Dearborn Police Officer. They took their own life near Michigan Ave and the Southfield Freeway.
