ALPENA, MI – Michigan State Police and the ATF have recovered several stolen weapons from the firearm store breaking and entering that occurred in Alpena on November 21st, 2020.

Search warrants were executed at two separate residences in the Alpena area and the suspects have been interviewed.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Alpena Post and MSP Emergency Support Team (EST) assisted the ATF Detroit Field Division in the investigation and execution of search warrants from the burglary of Full Bore Firearms LLC in Alpena that occurred on November 21st, 2020, at approximately 4:00 AM. At least two unknown suspects threw a brick through the glass of the front door to the business to gain access. A total of 49 firearms were stolen.

Leads were developed and search warrants were executed at residences on Sheridan Street and Long Rapids Road in Alpena. Several firearms were recovered and other stolen property was also located.

Three suspects, a 20-year-old man from Alpena, a 16-year-old male from Alpena and a 19-year-old from Brimley were interviewed. The suspects are believed to be responsible for other breaking and enterings in the Alpena area.

The investigation continues.
