DETROIT, MI – The first non-fatal shooting incident took place near Fenmore Street and W. 8 Mile Rd. on Detroit’s West side.

On Saturday December 5th, 2020, at approximately 5:40 p.m., in the area of Fenmore Street and W. 8 Mile Rd., allegedly a 21-year-old man and two other adult males were sitting in a vehicle when a SUV drove by and someone inside fired shots, striking the victim in the body.

The victim was privately transported to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.

The second incident took place on Saturday December 5th, 2020, at approximately 9:15 p.m., in the area of Moross and Somerset.

A 21-year-old man hit two parked vehicles causing his black 2011 GMC Yukon to roll over. The initial investigation revealed that he was shot prior to the accident.

He was transported to a local hospital by medics and is listed in critical condition. No further information is available at this time.
