STOCKBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, MI – On Sunday December 13th, 2020, at 2:55 p.m. Ingham County Sheriff deputies responded to Brogan Rd north of M-106 for a 2 vehicle crash.

A vehicle headed north on Brogan Rd with 5 occupants crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle with 2 occupants. 17 yr old Benjamin Adam Humrich, from Ovid, was the driver, of the northbound vehicle. He is being identified as the teenager who lost his life in this tragic accident.

The 4 passengers, two 17 year old girls, a 16 year old boy and a 17 year old boy were transported for serious injuries to a local hospital. They are all from the Ovid-Elsie area. Ovid is located just west of Flint.

The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 50 year old man from Chelsea and his 25 year old daughter, were both transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and is being investigated by the Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team.
