PONTIAC, MI – Oakland County Sheriff Deputies and Star EMS, on Wednesday December 16th, 2020, at about 1:45 AM, responded to the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue on a report of a 31-year-old woman who had been stabbed and was bleeding heavily.
Deputies and Star EMS arrived on scene. The victim was located on the back porch of the residence. She had sustained a stab wound to her right thigh and had been bitten on her face. Star EMS administered one dose of Naloxone to her as she appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
She was transported by paramedics from Star EMS to McLaren Oakland Hospital for treatment of the wounds as well as for suspected hypothermia. At the hospital, the 31-year-old woman reported to Deputies the first name of the person who was responsible for stabbing and having had bitten her. She indicated that the suspect was a 35-year-old woman from Alpena.
A K-9 Unit began a track to locate the scene where the stabbing had occurred. A trail of blood was followed to the front door of an apartment in the 50 block of Mark Avenue. Deputies knocked on the door of the apartment and got no response. Deputies forced entry to check for additional victims. A teenage boy and the 35-yearold suspect were in the apartment. There was blood on the floor and a chair. Suspected narcotics/paraphernalia were found at the scene.
Detectives arrived on scene and began their investigation.The victim is listed in serious but stable condition. The suspect was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending the issuance of charges.
