CROCKERY TOWNSHIP, MI – On Thursday December 17th, 2020, at approximately 1:57 PM, deputies with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an incident involving a 77-year-old man pinned underneath a riding lawn mower.

Emergency units arrived on-scene and discovered the 77-year-old Crockery Township man had rolled his Zero Turn style riding lawn mower down a steep hill and was pinned underneath the machine. The 77-year-old Crockery Township man died as a result of injuries sustained from the incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
