SHELBY TOWNSHIP. MI – On Monday December 28th, 2020, at 1:24pm, Shelby Township Police responded to an alarm at the PNC Bank located at 45125 Hayes Rd. 

While officers were in route, it was confirmed to be a robbery involving a black male subject that had entered the bank and presented the teller with a note, demanding money.  No weapon was seen during the incident. 

The subject then left on foot after being given an undetermined amount of money.  The suspect was seen  running south across Hall Rd into Sterling Heights.  A K9 track was conducted that lead across Hall Rd and into the Lakeside Terrance apartment complex where it was eventually terminated. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’5″ tall, medium build, wearing a gray hoodie, brown/tan Carhartt jacket and matching bomber style hat, and dark blue jeans.  Suspect also was wearing a pink/purple mask.
