DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in locating an unknown male suspect wanted in connection to a triple shooting on the city’s west side.

On January 1st, 2021, at approximately 1:20 a.m., the victims, a 26-year-old man, a 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were leaving from a gathering in the 18800 block of McNichols, when someone began shooting and they were struck.

All victims were privately transported to a local hospital for treatment. The 26-year-old man and the 31-year-old man were listed in stable condition.

The 27-year old woman was listed as critical condition but unfortunately later died due to her injuries.

After the shooting, the suspect got into a black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Limo. The vehicle was last seen traveling east on W. McNichols, then south on the Southfield Service Drive.

The suspect is described as a black male.

The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in locating the suspect and the black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Limo.
