DETROIT, MI – A young man was fatally shot while he was inside of Grandy’s Coney Island restaurant.
On Sunday January 10th, 2021, at approximately 2:50 a.m., in the 13300 block of 14th Street, the man, possibly in his 20’s, had a verbal altercation with three men inside of Grandy’s Coney Island. They do not participate in the Green Light Partnership program.
The three men then left the restaurant. A short time later, one of the suspects returned and fired shots fatally wounding the victim. The suspect then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a mask. That is the only information being provided at this time.
