DETROIT, MI – Two men argued with each other early Monday morning. One of those men ends up dead after the other fatally shoots him.

On Monday January 11th, 2021, at approximately 4:30 a.m., in the 22300 block of W. 8 Mile Rd., a 29-year-old man was fatally shot inside of an apartment building. The suspect and the victim knew each other.

The suspect, a 26-yr old man,  involved in the argument and then the fatal shooting, surrendered to authorities yesterday morning without incident.  The suspect is cooperating with police. He has stated that he and the victim did in fact get into a heated argument that ended badly.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are actively being investigated.
