MONTROSE, MI – Genesee County Sheriff Christopher Swanson went live in a video outside a McDonald’s and detailed how his team arrested a 20-year-old man, from Toledo Ohio, who brought an Uber to Michigan, to now face four major felony counts for meeting a young girl who he met on the internet then kidnapped and took her to Detroit and then to Toledo.
According to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, 15-year-old Lillian Patterson was last seen on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 at a McDonald’s in Montrose, Michigan before she was tracked to Toledo, Ohio.
The suspect, Anthony Drayton, is now sitting in the Genesee County Jail on a $400,000 bond.
Drayton is charged with kidnapping and three counts of criminal sexual conduct after he allegedly met the 15-year-old girl on Snapchat and the video game Fortnite and took her to Toledo, Ohio.
