DETROIT, MI – Reanetta Moore, 44-years-old, has been charged in connection with the non-fatal stabbing of her husband Robert Joiner, 35-years-old, both of Detroit.
On January 24th, 2021, at 6:30 a.m. it is alleged that the couple were in their home in the 9150 block Montrose when they had a verbal argument and allegedly Reanetta Moore grabbed a sword and seriously cut and stabbed her husband several times.
Detroit police officers were called to the scene and found the victim lying on the living room floor bleeding and suffering from wounds to his left side and the back of his neck.
The sword used in the assault was in the dining room with noticable blood on it. That was confiscated by the police.
Robert Joiner was transported to a local hospital where he continues to receive treatment. Reanetta Moore was arrested at the scene.
She has been charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm, Felonious Assault, and Aggravated Assault.
She has been charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm, Felonious Assault, and Aggravated Assault. Defendant Moore was arraigned and given a $1,000,000 cash bond. Her Probable Cause Conference is 02/03/2021 at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Archer.
During her arraignment, Moore was acting erratic. The judge felt she could not be trusted to return back to court as scheduled if she did have an opportunity to bail out of jail.
