DETROIT, MI – Raymond Jones-Watson, 32-years-old, and Derrick Boozer, 29-years-old, both of Detroit, have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man and the non-fatal shooting of his 34 year-old-brother, also of Detroit. 

On January 19th, 2021, at 8:15 p.m., in the 8530 block of Wildemere Street in Detroit, it is alleged that Raymond Watson and Derrick Boozer shot the two brother based upon an ongoing dispute.  The 32-year-old man died from his injuries and his 34-year-old brother received medical treatment and is expected to survive. 

Watson and Boozer have each been charged with First Degree Murder, Assault with Intent to Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and two counts of Felony Firearm.
